What is Clean Beauty?
There are many definitions of "clean beauty," but generally, it's an approach to beauty that prioritizes products that are safe, have non-toxic ingredients, and are ethically sourced and produced. It emphasizes transparency, sustainability, and health without compromising on effectiveness.
Our Products and Formulas
So, what do you think about Fruit Works products? Firstly, we are 90%+ natural, meaning we blend safe synthetic ingredients + natural extracts to create our formulas. Some natural ingredients can irritate the skin, so safe synthetic ingredients can be cleaner and specially formulated to provide skin benefits with minimal or no irritation. They also help with product stability and help it remain effective for longer.
Our formulations are always safety and efficacy tested. In fact, we go a step further than most other brands, and all our products are dermatologist-approved.
Additionally, we are cruelty-free! We never test on animals and do not use ingredients that have been tested on animals. We are 100% vegan, compassionate, and cruelty-free.
Regarding what we don't have - All our products are free from silicones, SLS, sulfates, parabens, formaldehyde, gluten, microbeads, and microplastics. They are harmful in formulations, so we exclude them, using the power of natural sources, which for us are primarily fruits!

At Fruit Works, we strive to ensure that all the decisions we make are environmentally oriented, so to achieve the greatest possible impact, we want to limit our carbon footprint and promote the circular economy.
All our products are made + produced in England, so we can monitor and minimize our carbon footprint from production to delivery, currently also working on understanding the carbon impact of each product. Our commitment to producing all our products in England means we can work closely with our manufacturers and ensure the desired product quality.
Our Packaging
We are committed to ensuring that we include a minimum of 30% PCR (post-consumer recycled materials) in our packaging and strive for our packaging to be 100% recyclable. Currently, all our packaging is fully recyclable, except for the mist pump, which although not recyclable in household settings, can be placed in a cosmetic recycling point, which you can find in many pharmacies on the high street.
Recycling plastics is one part of the solution needed to create a circular economy. It turns waste into raw materials and ensures they are used, thereby reducing the need for new primary plastics. Why not 100% PCR? Well, we want to ensure that what we promise, we can deliver, and while 100% PCR may sound good, it is not sustainable for eternity; there will come a time when new primary plastics will need to be reintroduced into the system to ensure the quality and reliability of the product.
