The legacy
G B Kent & Sons Ltd, brush manufacturer since the 18th century and is one of the oldest companies in Great Britain.
Kent Brushes was founded in 1777 by William Kent during the reign of George III. Kent has an outstanding place in the history of brush manufacturing, with an unsurpassed record of excellent manufacturing quality. This is proven by the honor of using the Royal Arms next to their logo and enjoying the endorsements of 9 English monarchs without interruption.
The Kent family held the company for six generations until 1932, when the last of the Kent brothers died. Then Eric Cosby, owner of Cosby Brushes Ltd. enters into partnership with G.B Kent & Sons. This opens a new chapter in the company's history under the able and dynamic leadership of the Cosby family.
The company continues today to uphold the craftsmanship and unparalleled quality that is Kent's reputation. Te are proud to still produce many of their brushes by hand and masterfully.

The Materials
Kent are known for their passion for natural bristle brushes. The material is sourced from the best traders in India and China where quality is assured. The wood is selected from forests around the world that are maintained as an inexhaustible source and is selected for good appearance, texture, color and ability to be worked, drilled and polished.
The rubber material is selected for softness and resistance, suitable for delicate scalps, but stable enough to be long-lasting and withstand years of use. Plasma combing needles have gently rounded ends to comb through tangled hair without pulling or pulling.
